So i used soapy water and my air compresser holding the hose just outside the drain plug and found my leak. Along with the small cracks you see it is open to the hull inside the hole, but inside it is small also because it's not anything that jumps out at you.
Can anyone tell me how to repair and stop the leak? I already tried to fix it by getting a brand new boat, but I couldn't get permission lol

I don't have any deck separation or delam, other than this leak the hulls are excellent for being 78's

How much leakage are we talking here? I would say in a pinch, you could probably just pull out the anchor bolt, squirt some silicone caulk in the hole and around the bolt, and then put it back in (by the way, it looks like your anchor bolt needs to be tightened anyway). If it's a small leak, that's probably all that's needed.

The other option would be to mix up a batch of thickened epoxy (West six10 would probably be a good choice) and smear it around the inside of the anchor bolt hole. Maybe even use a shop vac to help pull the resin in. Then after the resin cures, run a 5/16" drill back through the hole if needed to allow the bolt to pass through.

it leaks about 2 gallons and hour if it's flyin wind. Is the bolt supposed to be all the way tight? it was only about two threads thru the rod when I got the boat so i turned it in and then just one turn out maybe (thinking it needs to twist back and forth)?

A shop vac to suck the epoxy in, kudos! very smart.

The shroud anchor pin (the "bolt") needs to be (hand) tight. There's no need for it to rotate.
