| Post subject: | Cam cleat to mast |
What is the best way to attach a cam cleat to the mast? I am trying to attach a cam cleat to my mast for my jib halyard. As far as I know rivets is not an option becaise its too long. There is self tapping screws but I don't know if the screws would have enough of the mast to hold onto to make it solid. Not sure what other options there are. Really appreciate some help. Thank you. |

I'd have to check but pretty sure they are attached using the correct size rivet... 3/16''x 19mm??? I know i used these in monel to attach the nylon cleats. What does the Hobie parts catalogue say? |
