Post subject:  H16 boom bail and cleat location?

Hi,, I just picked up my boom from the machine shop...
I had all the rivet holes welded as they has serious corrosion around. The guy removed the stainless steel bail and the outhaul cleat and welded the holes for me to re-drill.

I need to know the exact location of the mainsheet block bail and the barrel cleat in relation to the extrusion end (without caps) so I can drill and pop some rivets.

Anyone?

I can't say for the mainsheet block bail, but you can put the cleat for the outhaul wherever - mine is halfway down the boom exactly. It's not like you adjust it all the time on a 16...

The blue print says (from the forward end of the extrusion)...

Bail (top rivet) 81.5 inches aft. Bail shows 13 degree forward angle.

Cleat (forward rivet) 73.25 inches aft.
