Hello, I just purchased a 1987 Hobie 16 and looking forward to learning how to set it up and enjoy with my two sons. We have a lot of experience sailing monohull boats but never rigged or sailed a multihull. I am confident I can eventually figure it out on my own (using youtube videos etc...), but thinking it may be better to do with an experienced Hobie owner the first time. I swear by Matt Miller's instructional set up video. You can find it on you tube . It may be an older video, but it contains a wealth of useful information. |

Mike - A few of us from the Inland Empire will be sailing our H16's in San Diego Mission Bay off of Santa Clara point this Saturday (July 15, 2017). Meet us there any time after 10 AM. John.. |
