What does the number mean just under the rudder casting, slightly above where the rudder pin goes through the hull. On my 83' H16 it is etched in as: port side: 637 starbord side: 630 Does anyone have any idea. I just noticed them today. James |

I think it just a production batch number, MMiller will be able to say for sure. |

Post subject: | Mold number |
Likely a mold number for the casting company's use in inventory control of tooling. They would be able to track which tool a part came out of. |
