HiAll My mast step has been modified so my mast over rotates. The stopper has been ground down on both sides. . To fix this I could fit a new step but I believe there is a fitting I can get and fasten to the step to fix this. Anyone know about these? Cheers Phil |

There is no longer an accessory like that. Was discontinued many years back. You can replace the step casting or possibly drill, tap and add bolts which can be filed down to make new stops. Replacing the step is easier for sure. Quote: Hobie 16 mast step replacement.
This was written up in the Hotline: http://www.hobiecat.com/support/pdfs/h1 ... eplace.pdf Not that hard to do usually, but corrosion around the post, through the crossbar, can make it tougher. |
