Where do you live and/or where do you plan to sail?

I would strongly recommend that you watch Matt Miller's Hobie 16 Set Up video. It can be found on you tube and contains a wealth of information.

Thank you,

But those videos even very helpful are not rich in details. I have a lot of doubts. I really would like to spend time with someone to teach me.

Here's a link to a map showing the Jersey Shore area and the respective Hobie fleets with contact information -- https://www.easymapmaker.com/map/331a67 ... 95ac85b486

Fleet 137 is based on Lake Hopatcong and the Commodore of the Fleet is Todd Walters with a phone number of 973-945-4356 and an email of [email protected].

Contacting your local Hobie fleet is often the best way to find someone to help you.

Tood Stevens is the owner of Sunset Sailboats on lake Hopatcong. He could possibly help you out. I would suggest you call his shop first though.

I live at the shore near Belmar and could potentially also help you out, but don’t have a lot of free time. Our fleet has a regatta on Barnegat Bay July 21/22 where there would be people around to help you out (not to mention sail with).

Fleet 250 is also a potential option. They are located on Sandy Hook Bay and are a large catamaran club with a plot of land on the bay in Atlantic Highlands and an active membership.

PM me if you need more info.
