Hello everyone, I recently bought a HC 16 and I can't wait to sail. I've a little experience with sailboat but haven't sail and set up a HC 16 yet. I live in the North of New Jersey. Anybody here want to give me lessons before I go to the water? I would like to learn how to prepare the boat and make sure I have all the stuff that I need. Thank you. |

I strongly recommend that you watch Matt Miller's Hobie 16 Set Up video. It can be found on you tube and contains a wealth of helpful information. |

I am searching for the mast setup guide. About taking the mainsail halyard and measuring the back of trampoline or something... I know it is out there, I already saw it somewhere...but where... The matt miller video does not explain it. If someone knows where to search... (My main problem is that I can not point high at all...) |
