I have been given a Hobie by my cousin. The only numbers I can find are stamped on the aluminium uprights sticking out of the hull. Th number is S05426. Any idea what this tells me? John |

Only that it's pre-1973. |

Most hull numbers are engraved or stamped on the rear right hull above the drain hole bung, and below the two deck seal points. My '79 is engraved with an engraver. The last two digits are the year model. |
