Hello wonderful people of this forum, I have just bought a Hobie 16 and by the blue prism sail, I can infer that it is a 1987 model. The mast is currently down and before I raise it I would like to attach the stays and run The halyards. How do these attach?

Welcome. Be sure to watch Matt Miller’s set up video, it is very helpful for sure.

Thank you, the only thing I can say in reply is, she sails! I took the H16 out earlier with a few boats in company (c420s and my other boat: a JY15 turbo rig) and lets put it modestly, they all where too far behind me to make out the names on their bows. Even passed a Corsair F27 trimaran.
