Considering a move to San Diego. Was wondering what the Hobie sailing (particularly Racing) scene is like in SoCal?

I know the Hobie 16 was originally designed and everything for SoCal, but I'm not sure if the fleet is as good as our Australian fleets?

There is lots of Hobie 16 racing activity in Southern California. This would be division 2. You can find details on http://hcana.hobieclass.com/divisions/ and their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/HobieDivision2/ or better yet contact the division 2 chair directly.
