Or, sometimes they are called sheets, as in main sheet and jib sheet. ![]() |

Put the old ropes in a mesh bag and toss them in the washing machine (front loader is preferred) with the sheets. You may find that they clean up very nicely. Dry them on a clothesline Pro tip from my wife: don't clean dirty ropes with laundry, wash separately. |
