I was Checking the tow on my rudders and noticed that my port side rudder leans outward toward the bottom. So I looked at the hulls an noticed the outside edge of the transom on the starboard hull is close to perpendicular to the ground and the port side angles out from top to bottom. I assume it should be like the starboard side. I lifted the hull and tried to twist the hull to see if it was loose at the pylon and it seemed pretty tight. Could the pylon be shifted down inside the hull? Any ideas on what this might be, how to troubleshoot this, and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. |

Maybe a stupid question, but did you throw a level on the rear crossbar to check the boat was sitting level to begin with? Assuming the boat is in fact level, there is really no practiclal fix for this. Maybe a shim between the pylon and casting could be used to change the angle slightly, but probably more trouble than its worth and anything behond that would be way more trouble than its worth. Bottom line - just sail it.... sm |

I didn’t put a level on it, but if the boat wasn’t level the the hulls would both be angled in the same direction. I will try to get some pictures of it. I definitely still plan to sail it but I’m sure this will affect performance. I have always had strong weather helm on the port tack only and I wonder if this is why. |

I was thinking of going sailing on Saturday morning all though the wind forecast is light right now. We can meet up out there too. |
