So....I have a 2001 H16 built in France. No surprise, but over the years, I have found a few differences between this boat and previous Hobie 16s I have owned. So...a couple of questions on rudder assembly parts?

Does anyone know if the delrin screws are metric threaded? I saw on a Joy Rider TV video they have a different part number (99220825) and I think I found that they may be a M18 x 2 thread.

And if so...does anyone know how I could grab a spare or two?

Thanks!

Andrej

Yes you are correct, metric threaded, I found out the opposite way when I bought some spares for my 16 when I was back in the UK. My boat here in Japan is a US build and no dice with the screws when I got back. You can order the correct ones for your boat from one of the Hobie suppliers in Europe/UK.

Should be the same as the early Tiger cam screw.

In the US as: F99220006 TIGER CAM TENSION SCREW

Thank you, Josef and Matt. Appreciate the responses!! I will check with my local dealer for the Tiger part or else, I did find a dealer in France that I could try to contact.
