New (super excited) owner. I'm handy but have never done fiberglass repair.
Damaged fiberglass around where the rudder pin goes through the deck.
Here's a link to a photo

The gudgeons appear to be very secure.
Any suggestions on how to repair?
I was going to spread it apart a bit, and clean it up with sandpaper. Then I was going to fill it with epoxy, clamp it real good and call it a day.
I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

Unless it bothers you (visually) SAIL IT !!!

No structural issues there

Thank you for the info and the quick response. I was afraid water would seep in and cause problems further in.
