There is an ad in ebay where someone is selling a 2005 h16 cheap, -under $4000 is latest bid. Does this sound for real? The picture on the ad is of a getaway, so I do not know if it is a h16 or a getaway. They said the boat has only been sailed once, and there are no real details on the boat. I do not have an ebay account and I don't really trust giving info to companies-spam, junk mail etc. does anyone know anything about this boat? Too good to be true?

this is the response i got back "Hobie 16 SE...Will research serial number...Paid $8500 new, with trailer, only used once....too far from lake!" |

Never saw the boat, but it went for $5300. Still sounds like a good deal, included a trailer. |
