I just installed 2001 hulls on my old 80's hobie 16 frame...I discovered a lateral movement Castings. The hulls when I'm sailing and it seams the hull posts fit loosely in the old corner castings. I read about using tin cans to shim it or epoxying the Castings to the hull posts...I was thinking about using spray foam? Or would the spray foam collapse? |

Foam would not be strong enough. There is a huge lever load up in the castings. Epoxy is a good choice or Brass/Aluminum shims. |
