My jib sheet (rope) slips out of the cam cleat, even in medium winds. Both the old and new line I purchased slip out. I purchased them from my local knowledgeable Hobie dealer so I'm pretty sure they are the right ones. Roughing up the lines helps a bit but doesn't solve the problem. According to the dealer, spring tension and the ridged jaw of the cam doesn't appear to be worn. (not sure my jargon is correct here). Eager for your help! My best Bill |

If you have swivel cam cleats, you may be able to bend the plates upwards a little for better engagement angle? |
