If I purchase a brand new Hobie 16 from a dealer in the U.S., will the boat be manufactured in the United States or will it be made in another country? Where exactly - if anyone knows? How long does it take to receive the new H 16 if I order one in 2021? I have heard that it is taking months to get one right now. |

Currently our facility in France is building the fiberglass hulls. The rest comes out of our factory here in Oceanside, CA. Metal, sails, tramps all built here and packaged to ship to dealers. Get an order to a dealer. Supplies are extremely tight and over sold. |

Thank you, Matt. I put a deposit down in May 2021 - with a very large dealer in Florida - for a new Hobie 16, but have still not received the new boat. The dealer originally said that it would be August 2021, then September 2021, but still not boat and no definite indication as to when to expect the new boat. Matt, do you have any better idea about what kind of time line I am looking at, considering that I put the deposit down in May? |

I don't deal with boat sales or shipping, but looks like 16s are available and waiting to ship as trucks get scheduled. |
