Do I need to take these out and out in a gasket or something or just scrub off the old goop and put some under the waterline sealant on it?[img]

how do you put pictures in here?

Could you be a little bit more vague? I'm not sure I don't understand your question.

I haven't seen any gaskets, but on my boat i took the entire piece out and then used some under water line gasket schmoo and just applied a nice layer all the edge of the hole and stuff. I also used good solid bunch of wraps around the drain plug with teflon tape.

I really don't know if my fixup will work well because I haven't put it in the water yet, but I hope it does.
