Hello, I don't think my jib sail is mounted correctly at the tack because it kind of twists the sail as it doesn't have movement to rotate in the direction of the sail. Can someone look at this photo and tell me if this is how it is supposed to be mounted or what I am missing? Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Actually looks about right. You will probably want to move the shackle up to the 4th hole (from the bottom) for starters. I use a long, twist shackle on one of my boats which would also solve this issue. |

It looks correct. The rigging is simply a matter of connecting the eyelet in the jib luff wire at the jib tack to the forestay adjuster plate using a bow shackle. Just make sure that there aren’t any twists in the wire before you hoist. sm |

It looks like your setup is almost right, but the issue might be with how the jib is connected at the tack. You want to make sure the jib’s eyelet is attached to the forestay adjuster plate using a shackle that allows movement. Just check there are no twists in the luff wire before hoisting, and that should help. |

Here is a picture from the side of how I have my jib and forestay connected. ![]() |
