Totally depends on the conditions. The quoted max would be light air and flat water. In and around 300 lbs is a great weight for the 16 in general. |

I have had about 650lbs in 15 kts and 3 foot seas. Very wet and slow ride, but it can be done. |

I had about 650 lbs on my 16 last week iun 2' seas and 18 knot windds. A very wet and bumpy ride. Better than not sailing, but I wouldn;t recommend it. |

I've had four people on mine and we were absolutely flying up at Tahoe one day, me at about 200, my buddy at about 150 and two girls at about a buck twenty-five each. The wind was booking and it was very. very wet, relatively flat water though. I was dry seeing as there was three people in front of me =) Not recommended of course, but we didn't end up in the water either. |
