Yeah, living by the Naval Acadamy they printed that in the local paper a few years back...I liked it. I'm sure I've butchered it somehow. From what I remember reading, a Plebe has to recite that on demand when asked by an upper classman.

Yup, had to memorize all kinds of interesting (useless???) stuff- ditties, quotes, terminology, Navy and military facts, etc. etc.. I guess mind training exercises. I still remember a fair amount- 40 years later!!!!!!!!!

How's the cow? (how much milk is left in the carton?)
