Hi, I have a set of 1987 (I think) sails on my H16. Sort of rainbow colored panels. Anyways I want and need new sails. I have been told that the new sails are cut diferrently than the old sails. Both jib and main have slightly different cuts and more roach.

My concern is:
Will the battens I have, cut to the leghts to fit my sails fit properly on brand new sails?

Are they going to fall short in the batten pockets?

thanks!

They should be okay, I've never run into a problem.

Thanks Brad!

So what about new and old sails, Are they really cut differently?

Jib is different - shorter in the foot and longer on the luff. (Change mde in 2000)

Main is the same.

Any difference in jib battens with this longer luff?
