Post subject: | Sail Repair |
I have a small hole (size of a quarter) in my main sail. The hole is near the boom. Suggestions on how to repair? Thank You! |

Do not use Epoxy......Just kidding. I don't do sail repairs, but would offer this. To have it done properly, wash it off and dry it (usually up the mast is good for this), then pull all the battens out, fold it up and take a drive to your nearest sail loft and have a professional sew on a patch. Sorry to be of little help, but I'd stay away from using repair tapes for that size hole. |

Clean it, take battens out, box it up and send it to Chip http://www.whirlwindsails.com/ |

Just curious ... why would you not use Sail tape? |
