I have a 2009 Outback and several other older models. The Outback is now too heavy for me to manage from land to water. The catalog- listed weight was 62 lbs. My 2008 Sport was listed at 48 lbs. and my 2007 Revolution was listed at 58 lbs. All the newer models such as the Rev 11, Compass and Passport are website listed as much heavier. I need carrying capacity for my Irish Setter on the back. Are the weights for the newer models calculated similarly to the older ones? Is there a model you would recommend I consider which is lighter than my 2009 Outback but with reasonable capacity? I live in Thunder Bay Ontario and my nearest dealers are 6 to 16 hours away so I have to buy sight unseen. ahytb |

A lot of extra weight is in the vantage seats. if you remove this for transport and lifting it helps |
