What do I need to upgrade my 2014 V2 drive to a GT drive? And where is the most cost effective place to get the parts? |

You just need GT drums, sprockets and the idler to go full GT. |

One other question. I’ve been seeing the base of the 180 drive for a little over $300. Could mine be converted to the 180 drive down the road if I decided I wanted to? |

To go 180 requires new masts, fins, and the spine... yes... possible. For pricing use the parts lookup tool with "GT" as the text: https://www.hobie.com/parts-and-accessories/?q=GT&hPP=20&idx=ItemGroup&p=0&is_v=1 Looks like $160 ish. Two drums, two sprockets and one idler. |
