Looking at 4 Outbacks, all have 180 Drive. -
A used 2017, and new 2017, 2019, and 2020s all from dealers.

The new 2017 is my closest dealer. He has a half dozen of them. New 2019 is 100 miles away (but a sales tax free state) and everyone has 2020s.

The used 2017 is $2000. The new 2017 and new 2019 are both $2400, but the 2017 actually costs more because I'd pay tax, and 2020s are $2999. (plus 6% sales tax, if I buy from my local dealer) The used 2017 was bought out of the big pile of leftover 2017s at my local dealer, and still has a year of warranty.

I'll be using it for fishing lakes and dammed sections of the lower Susquehanna River. Some creeks too. Maybe some coves and quiet backwaters of the Chesapeake, but 90% will be my local no-gas-boats-allowed lake.

I'm 6' tall, 200 lbs. It will be car-topped, and stored in a more-or-less climate controlled garage.

Thoughts? I saw a lot of posts about the 2019s developing cracks in the hull near the seat. I'm 200 pounds and getting to the age where I "plop" into chairs. Is this less of a concern with the 2020s? Or 2017s?

Thank you for your opinions.

I bought the used 2017 right before my state went on shelter-in-place. Thankfully "outdoor activities" are still permitted!

Can't go wrong, but probably the 2019 for the changes from 2017.
