I'm on vacation in Charleston, SC, and we see a local guy selling his used camouflage Hobie Mirage Outback for $2,500. I've been to see the boat once. It's a bit scuffed up on the bottom, but otherwise seems in decent shape. He's including a Lowrance fishfinder ($130 new). I offered him $2,300, but he's sticking to his $2,500 price. Does this seem an okay deal? Thanks in advance for your feedback. |

In my opinion: I dont think so. If it was the 2019 re-design, I could see $2,500. I always go back to MSRP for the year the kayak was made and take 10% off/yr. Heavy scratches/etc... take a little more off. A quick google search and youll see 2017's with Trax cart/FF/etc selling for $2k-$2,300. On the flip side, inventory is tight right now. If it gets you in the water and your comfortable with the price- go for it! |

$2,500.00 is way to much (even if the yak is in perfect condition). I wouldn't pay any more than $1,800.00 for an Outback that is 3 years old. If you are patient and shop around you can find good deals. |

My 2017 camo outback cost $2700 brand new, in the spring of 2017. |

For another $500 you could have a 2020 with a 180 drive with kickback fins |
