bought my 2018 outback used. I'm going to install my hookreveal2 finder. Boat did not come with Hobie hull fitting plugs. Do i need the thru hull wiring plug kit for running the transducer cable into the hull under the seat and also the thru hull 3 way plug kit for bringing the power and transducer wire out of the hull using the plug covers with 3 screws on top of the gunwale? Someone suggested ignore the 3 screw plug cover and drill 1" hole next to it so could used second plug in thru hull plug kit - seems a bit sloppy. Doesn't Hobie anticipate these plugs go missing? I'm confused hope someone can clarify - thanks |

If you're talking about the adaptors, a tree of them come with the $20 kit but i would think any dealer could order them for less than that. Worth a phone call anyway. |
