I plan on transporting my 2022 Outback upside down on a Yakima long arm with vertical extension and a rhino rack vortex bar on the roof of my truck. My issue is the space between the two bars is about 8.5ft. I’d prefer to rest it flat on the forward and rear gear tracks but that distance is only 6ft so that won’t work. Given the 8.5ft distance what are the best locations to rest the kayak on the bars? Is it safe to rest the front hatch on one of the bars? |
