I'm looking for some measurements of some parts from Outbacks dated 2021 and 2022 Hulls. the Vantage CTW seat has a pinion gear on the bar that goes into a "rack gear box" on each side of the hull. i've measured some of the older models and they seem to range from 5.5" range in height to 4.5" for the 2022 model. would any owners be kind enough to measure the height of the gear rack box at the sides and let me know the year of your outback? @ Hobie staff: MMiller has been awesome in helping me get the part numbers. i am looking to get some kind of confirmation of the item number of the gear rack (rt & lf) so i can place order for the right height. i am looking to receive the 4.5" sized one. thanks in advance, Al also, is there a guide that will help me post images on this forum? i have images in google photos... copied link but having toughest time posting images here. |
