Post subject:  Garmin transducer template
Hello everyone.

I have a Hobie Mirage Outback that I purchased used and I'm not sure if its a 2019 or 2020 model. Recently, I have contact Hobie to help me figure that out with the serial number. Waiting for a reply.

Anyway, is there a transducer template for mounting to the Hobie Guardian? I have a Garmoin 54CV, but i'm not sure on the transducer model having come from an older boat of mine. It roughly 8" long.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

Here's the decoder for the Hobie hull/serial numbers which will tell you the model year as well as the month and year of manufacture.

As to helping with the transducer, you didn't give us much to go on. Maybe post a picture of the transducer?

did you buy the fish finder new? does it have the transducer mounting plate to hold the unit onto a trolling motor? if it does, use that as the template. that is what i did. the holed lined up beautifully. if i had longer bolts i would have left the Garmin plate on the backside for reinforcement.
