Darn mice chewed the cable that is used to drop the ruder on my 2018 Outback. Any video out there that shows how to replace it. What I need is how to determine how long the nylon cord needs to be and how the spacing of the bungie cord. |

Hobie used 2mm Spectra cord which is a little more difficult to source. You can probably find 2mm Dyneema much easier (Amazon). The two are basically identical, with a small change in the manufactures process. YouTube search for “Replacing Hobie Rudder Control Lines”. There are several videos on the topic. Use a phone to take pictures inside the boat (if you can’t get your head inside to see. It’s not a difficult process, easily done with basic skills. Good luck |

I do not need the Dynama. I need the Nylon cord that runs from the cockpit back to the dynamo. I am trying to figure out what length I need and how to space the bungee shock. Update: Cord is 3/16 no stretch Nylon 106” long. bungee is 20” long. Bungee to stretched to 30” when attached to the nylon cord. |
