We’ll be picking up two passports 12.0 in the next couple of days from the dealer. Prior to ordering these I had asked a question regarding upgrading to the 180 drives. I was told that I would have to purchase the drive separately and then basically have two drives. They don’t do upgrades. I would imagine it’s to encourage folks to buy the next model up. Is this simply a dealer decision or does Hobie allow you to upgrade for a few hundred dollars? I can live without reverse, it would be handy, but not a deal killer. I have seen other folks talking about doing the upgrade so just trying to figure out what the truth is. Thanks |
