Post subject: | Passport 180 Drive Conversion |
I installed a reverse drive on my Passport today. It took me about an hour. I ordered my spline and shifter set from Sunjammers in Panama City, FL. Brad there was incredible. I used their email contact on a Sunday, he confirmed the parts I needed and shipped them the next day. Most of the other places were out of stock. Sunjammers only charges a flat rate, $9.00 for shipping. I'm very impressed with the service from Sunjammers. Spline: https://www.sunjammers.com/spine-assy-md180-ku.html Shift Set: https://www.sunjammers.com/search/Shifter+set/ I used this Florida Sportsman video for install tips (the Mirage drive is totally new to me). Getting the bearings back in is the most difficult aspect. If changing your oil in a car is a 3 on a 1-10 difficulty scale, this job is a 4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3boV-UxQ4No Sunjammers has a nice tip on reinstalling the bearings on the pedals: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TIZ_s68Qi34 I'm on some pretty tight waters here in Louisiana, so having a Reverse will be nice.
