Post subject:  Minimum height to effectively pedal

Considering a Mirage Lynx for my wife but have a concern that she may be too short to effectively reach the pedals even with them adjusted as far forward to the seat as possible. Anyone know what height range it is designed to accommodate? She is 5’0” with a 30 inch inseam. Also, my understanding is that the seat itself is not on a track that will allow it to be moved forward or backward relative to the pedals - is that correct? I am aware the seat back angle can be adjusted). Thanks.

I don't have inseam / fit info, so best to consult a dealer to test one out.

I am 4'11"......about a 29" inseam... I can use my husband's lynx... I do have to put the pedals on #2 So they slant towards me which is different than my peddle setting 4 on my Hobie i11s. It feels different but I have no other problems

My 9 year old son (4'6") was too short to reach the pedals until we put a cushion behind him. We used a PFD seat cushion which was the right thickness and strapped on easily with a bungee cord. He said it was comfortable and was able to go several miles.

You can see the red cushion in this picture
