Checked out the damage last night. The tailgate on his Tacoma is damaged pretty badly, and the garage door is destroyed.
The good news: NO damage to the Hobie whatsoever. This is one tough cookie.

I've been working on my H17 at my mom's house all summer. Patching some holes and cracks; installing ports and coolers. Sunday night I applied Marine-Tex to the hulls, and left them out in the sun on sawhorses in front of the garage to dry. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get back there to work on it for the past couple of days. I just got a call from my brother, and apparently he backed his truck into my hulls and smashed them through the garage door. yay! This will be a great story to tell his kids someday. |
