I have a Hobie 17 and the HIN does not match the info at http://www.hobiecat.com/support/articles/archive/?src=http://2010.archive.hobiecat.com/support/warranty/sailserial.html exactly. It is CCML1205G68 both hulls read the same number. Everything seems right except the last 2. I am getting that it was a 1986 model but am not sure what the 8 after it means, If it said G686 or G687 that might make sense but just G68 leaves me stumped. Anyway am I right that it is an '86? |

Just missing the last digit. Maybe be a 6 or 7. That makes it a 1986, 1987... built in 1986. |
