From reading the forums and watching videos, i understand that their are many additions that ill have to make to my 17 to rig a jib if i dont want my boat to be torn apart. Would someone be able to tell me what these pieces are? |

I just bought a Sport and am going the other way with it and have EVERYTHING you'll need to convert it. I need a boom, and that's about it. Please contact me [email protected] to get an inventory of what I have vs. what you'll need. Chris Wessels |

What's better? Boom or boomlet? I bought a sport too, but mainly did because it was the only one I could find that was in decent condition. |

Boomlet if you're sailing with more than one person or if you just want the convenience of not having to do a belly crawl under the boom each time you tack. The boom is better if you're looking for a little more performance since it allows for outhaul and mast rotation control. sm |
