Maybe put a little dishwashing detergent on the stick first to lube it up. sm |

I struggling to get a new foam grip completely on my FX06 tiller. Than while sailing, I retracted the telescopic tiller fast and the foam grip popped right off disappearing into a water grave...........be sure use a little glue............ ![]() |

An old trick with golf club grips, bicycle handlebar grips, etc. is to give the inside of the grip a shot of hairspray (aerosol from a can) - then quickly slip it on. When wet, it acts like a lubricant; when dry, it acts like a glue. You need to be quick with it - otherwise, it'll be stuck halfway on. |
