I broke the mast base on my Hobie FX one. I called the closest Hobie Dealer to me on the Gulf Coast and the guy on the phone said that the FX One was never sold in the United States and that I would have to get the part from Hobie Europe or Europe eBay. I was told (on another forum) that the base may be the same as the Hobie Tiger. So, I checked the part numbers and the Hobie Miracle, Hobie Tiger, Hobie 17 all share the same part number for the mast base but the FX one has a different part number. I may have to call the number on this website: http://www.hobiespares.co.uk/ and see if they can get the part shipped to me. Any other suggestions? |

A H20 mast base will work - same as a Tiger... The dealer was mistaken - we did sell a limited number of FX1's here in the US - but it didn't really take off - parts are not common we no longer stock parts - but sometimes they do overlap with a US model (in this case the H20) |
