Hello - fella near here has a 14 with jib for sale, but from the photos he sent, I can't see a dolphin striker. I can't see any signs of trap wires, either. If the boat has been sailed as a turbo, does the lack of a striker mean the boat may have been weakened, or does that depend on whether it was trapped? Thanks Is there any way to post pictures that are on my computer? |

I think the striker was mostly for the trapeze, so if you don't trap... may be less of an issue. The striker is easy to add though (shown in the Hobie catalog). Images have to be posted on the internet somewhere. We don't host images, so photobucket or something like that. The How-to is in the sailing FAQ at the top of the sailing forums.
