OK so i jsut got back from my attempt on sailing tampa bay.... i really (censored) up my boat... the winds were blowing somewhere between 25-30 mph... I some how managed to (censored) up the side rail of the tramp becasue the clip the mast holder goes into straight up snapped out of the rail bending it and putting a crack in it... i need a new one... anyone know where to fin a used one cheap? also what is the max winds recommened in a hobie 14 with only the mainsail??? |

The 14 parts aren't half as easy to find as the 16 parts... but I have to say, a 60 mi sail your second day owning a new boat is probably not the best choice... Get to know your boat a litte better, and push the envelope gradually. Find your limits and stretch them gently. As you may have noticed, too rough the first time and you might hurt her ![]() |
