When did Hobie stop making the 14s? I noticed that the latest out there that ive seen was an 85?? Why did they stop the 14s and focus on the 16s? |

They were tapered off in the mid 90's (after the Wave was introduced) What the exact date was I'm not sure. |

Hmmm.. I didn't think they kept making them till the 90s...I guess I never saw an AD out there about a 14 that's that "new". Thanks! |

I know a guy who has a '93. Its listed as such on the transom. Where it came from I don't know, as he bought one of those Navy auction boats last summer. |

Are we talking America's? They have brand new ones in France. I saw a 2000 on the beach in St. Tropez this summer (it was a rental and looked like crap, my 1973 looks waaaay better). All the rental 16's have cut down mainsails and no booms over their. Sam |
