Post subject: | hobie cat 14 ? or the "dragoon" |
Hello guys I want to buy a hobie cat and I was decided to buy the 14, but someone advised me to by the "dragoon" which by the way I really don't like at all. this guy said to me that the 14 is too light and too radical, and I will be most of the times under the watter rather than over the watter. what do you think?? I really like the 14 but I have some doubts now. thanks for your expert opinions on this. regards woqr |

Go with the 14, I have a very old 14T and she is a dream. You do get wet from time to time. Lets just say that it is not a winter boat but I go out and manage to stay fairly dry most of the time. I do not know who your advisor is but he is crazy, the 14 is not to radical or light. That is what makes it a great boat. It is a very fast boat and when solo I think it can keep up with alot of the larger cats. As for it being light, that is another great thing about them. I can load my boat really easily without help, and with two guys we can lift the entire boat off the ground and carry it. Lets see you do that with something bigger. |
