Post subject: | Small white plastic ball in rudder |
Towards the end of the sailing season one of my rudders was having trouble staying locked down. Now that I am examining the rudders with everything taken apart I am seeing that there is a small white ball missing in the problem rudder. I am guessing this is part of the rudder cam. I need to get a new one of these, does anyone have any info on the part ### or info on how to get one. |

call your dealer sounds like a plunger, they will be black in color now. you may want to just get a rudder locking kit (new delrin screw, spring, plunger), also a rudder cam if yours is older. |

Yeah, about that whole dealer thing. I bought a used boat from some guy in Tx, and have either bought used parts or fabricated them. I am not sure what dealer to get ahold of. |

use the dealer finder on Hobie Site. if there is no one close by that can accommodate you then try the next. there are several dealers in Texas, as well as the rest of the country that do mail order. Let me know if I can help out in any way. |
