Having never owned a 14, do we need a new forestay? and bridle wires?

That's it in a nutshell - the original turbo jib has the wire in the luff, like a 16's jib (but there's no halyard on the turbo).

The classic 14's bridles are longer, too. Reduces the amount of side force on the hulls.

new bridle wires, a pigtail with swivel, and a roller furler. then youre good

or you can recrimp old bridle wires. but i prefer to keep the old ones so that you can interchange back to H14 regular

Why go from turbo to uni rig? Just furl the jib!
