6 to 7 Hobie 14's turned up at Wivenhoe dam Qld Australia. Not often we get a big turn out, light winds, but kicked in later as usual.

Cool! I love 14's and wish they were still available here in the States! There are very few around where I sail any more- plenty of 16's and a smattering of other cats, many vintage. My '82 turbo stands out- at least to those who know what they're seeing.
The old boats still have more character than the new plastic boats. That, and if you can tack a unirig 14 consistently, you can tack ANY boat out there! LOL!

Dave, they still make them in Europe
Recently 8 new ones were built for Australia, cat rigged $10,000 each

Yeah, got that!
I was lamenting that they're no longer readily available stateside. Every now and then one pops up which someone imported, but they're prohibitively expensive!
Love my '82 14t!
