Doing a restoration on a H14. Just bought the new style gudgeon's and following the directions enlarged all holes with a 1/4" drill. 4 of the old holes align with the old gudegon holes. Problem is the gudgeon covers 1/3 of the drain plug. The instructions said nothing about cutting the lip off the back of the hull. What am I missing. Can somebody email me a pic of a completed install? Thnx

Hobie Europe lists the part number for the 14 as 13556008 which is different to the 16. Looks like you have the sixteen gudgeon as it has two extra holes, where as the 14 only has 6. I know they list the 16 and 14 gudgeon the same, but as you have found it won't fit! Maybe try and get the Europe part http://www.hobiestore.de/heckbeschlag.html Steve |
